Demand flexibility is the major factor on which the solution is based. It allows us to flexibly change loads as per the requirements. Users can now shift their consumption from peak load periods to non-peak load periods. Using the concept of real-time pricing, the rate of electricity during non-peak hours will be less compared to peak hours. People using solar panels can shift to electricity from solar panels at peak-load periods to avoid using government-provided electricity at high rate periods. Having storage as a non-compulsion part of the solution, people who can afford storage can use it to store the excess energy collected by solar panels which can be further used at the time of need. All the data will be monitored by smart meters. Further, the data will be organized by disaggregation algorithms and displayed on our app “Ambrisa”, where the users can find their real-time usage of electricity, recommendations for reducing bills, appliances usage, and expert support. In addition to that, houses will be provided by IoT to optimize the work.
